Driveway
Building on top of a national network of used car dealerships, Lithia Motors was reimagining the way cars are traded, sold, and evaluated with a full-service offering named Driveway.
A team of developers, designers, and analysts tasked with creating the digital touchpoints to support the full-service journey. As a team, we created a system of apps and web experiences to support the customer from getting a trade-in value for your vehicle to getting a used vehicle of choice delivered to your home.
After about a year of incubation, testing, and development the Driveway service went to market, changing the way many shop, trade, and buy cars.

Research and Discovery to Wireframes and Prototypes
Teams were split up by service phase and assembled around Sell/Trade-in, Shop/Buy, and Checkout. I was lead UI designer for the Checkout experience, heavily influenced by Shop/Buy.
The Checkout experience occurred via Driveway.com and a series of email communications. During this phase, customers select a vehicle and create the financing plan that works best for them. It involves asking the customer for their credit score and manipulating data in the backend in order to supply the customer with full detailing around vehicle pricing.
